Im a huge skincare fan, so I was very excited.Recently,I received the teami soothing oil, also through fashionsta. I love them both! They absorb quickly & leave your skin feel soft,supple, & hydrated! Im so happy that I was introduced to this fantastic product line & look forward to trying more of your products. _

First use… smell is awful

I just started using this product, so I’m not sure whether I like it yet or not. The smell is AWFUL… like somewhere between soured baby sick and a dead mouse smell, with maybe a bit of a citrusy overtone. My dog legit tried to smell my face for 10 minutes after I applied this because the smell is so weird. I agree with what others said about it feeling tacky, although I did not have trouble putting a face oil over it and the tacky feeling seemed to go away. Although I disagree with another reviewer that said the smell goes away… it doesn’t seem to. I can still smell it on my face.
I mostly wanted to try this serum because I’ve read good things about hibiscus and its skin firming properties. I was honestly expecting this to smell somewhat floral but nope, not what it smells like at all.
If I’m able to overlook the smell of this to continue using it, I’ll have to come back and update my review on whether it delivers as a facial serum or not.
To wrap up my review… this serum STINKS. Badly.
