Many generations of students and doctors have studied this atlas, and for more than sixty years it has regularly provided them with detailed anatomical information based solely on factual material, which is what makes it different from a textbook. This issue is a revised and substantially supplemented in comparison with its previous, 6th, edition of the atlas.
The third volume of the atlas is devoted to the consideration of angiology (the study of the cardiovascular system) and the description of lymphoid organs.
