Laser removal of skin lesions is the most effective method in most cases.
Our medical center for the removal of warts and other skin neoplasms, uses a CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser, which achieves success with maximum accuracy, without damaging healthy skin.
Laser removal of neoplasms is performed under local anesthesia.
From the point of view of safety and efficiency, the removal of skin tumors with a laser is the most optimal, since the laser acts without contact, has bactericidal and coagulating properties, stimulates skin regeneration, and is not accompanied by scarring. Removal by laser in most cases excludes the possibility of recurrence of the neoplasm.
Laser removal of neoplasms on the face and skin of the body is a surgical procedure, therefore it requires professional surgical education and high-tech equipment.
Skin neoplasms when they are located on the eyelids, in the corners of the eyes, neck, lips, are removed only with the use of a laser, since the use of other methods – electrocoagulation and cryodestruction – is painful and dangerous, the possibility of scar formation.
Laser can remove almost any neoplasm: moles, keratomas, atheromas, lipomas, fibromas, papillomas, vulgar and plantar warts, skin horns, xanthelasmas, angiomas, basaliomas, calluses, molluscum contagiosum. The laser can remove neoplasms located both subcutaneously and subcutaneously.
The decision on laser removal is made by the surgical oncologist after a preliminary consultation. If necessary, a morphological study of the remote formation is performed.
Laser treatment for skin lesions
A surgical carbon dioxide laser is used to remove skin lesions. Before removal, local anesthesia is performed. With a large size of the formation, its location in a sensitive area or a low pain threshold, injection anesthesia is used.
During removal, the entire perimeter of the element is treated with laser pulses. This is accompanied by evaporation of water from the tumor tissues and damage to the supply vessels. During the procedure, the patient feels a slight tingling sensation. High precision in the removal of skin formations with a laser is achieved by a controlled depth of exposure and the use of certain beam parameters. In the future, a crust forms at the site of the removed formation, which disappears after 7-10 days. Most of the skin formations are removed with a laser during one procedure. Only viral warts may require repeated laser treatment, since they tend to grow deep into healthy tissues. The procedure for laser removal of one skin formation takes about 1-5 minutes.
Skin care after laser removal
Skin care after laser removal is minimal. No additional dressings are required, the patient can lead a normal life and work activity. Usually there are no scars after laser removal. The risks of pigmentation, scarring, infection after removal of skin formations with a laser are minimal.
Laser removal of viral warts does not guarantee that they will not reappear, as the virus remains in the body. In this case, additional immunomodulatory therapy may be recommended.

- prevents the recurrence of neoplasms, eliminating the root cause;
- kills bacteria and viruses, being an antiseptic, creating a decontaminated environment;
- does not come into contact with the skin, so there is no risk of infection or injury.
Laser removal of moles and other skin neoplasms is a radical and absolutely safe method of removal.
