Cellulitis specialist: What Is the Cause of Cellulitis? Infection Symptoms & Treatment

Cellulitis – Diagnosis and treatment

Your doctor will likely be able to diagnose cellulitis by looking at your skin. In some cases, he or she may suggest blood tests or other tests to help rule out other conditions.

Cellulitis treatment usually includes a prescription oral antibiotic. Within three days of starting an antibiotic, let your doctor know whether the infection is responding to treatment. You’ll need to take the antibiotic for as long as your doctor directs, usually five to 10 days but possibly as long as 14 days.

In most cases, signs and symptoms of cellulitis disappear after a few days. You may need to be hospitalized and receive antibiotics through your veins (intravenously) if:

  • Signs and symptoms don’t respond to oral antibiotics
  • Signs and symptoms are extensive
  • You have a high fever

Usually, doctors prescribe a drug that’s effective against both streptococci and staphylococci. It’s important that you take the medication as directed and finish the entire course of medication, even after you feel better.

Your doctor also might recommend elevating the affected area, which may speed recovery.

Lifestyle and home remedies

Try these steps to help ease any pain and swelling:

  • Place a cool, damp cloth on the affected area as often as needed for your comfort.
  • Ask your doctor to suggest an over-the-counter pain medication to treat pain.
  • Elevate the affected part of your body.
  • Ask your doctor whether it might help to wear compression wraps or stockings.

Preparing for your appointment

You’re likely to start by seeing your family doctor or a general practitioner, who may refer you to a doctor who specializes in skin disorders (dermatologist). If you have a severe infection, an emergency room doctor may examine you first. You may also be referred to an infectious disease specialist.

Here’s some information to help you get ready for your appointment.

What you can do

  • List your symptoms, including any that may seem unrelated to the reason for which you scheduled the appointment.
  • List key personal information, such as if you’ve had any recent surgeries, injuries, animal bites or insect bites.
  • List medications, vitamins and supplements you’re taking and the dosage.
  • List questions to ask your doctor.

Preparing a list of questions can help you make sure that you cover the points that are important to you. For cellulitis, some basic questions to ask your doctor include:

  • How might I have gotten this infection?
  • What tests do I need? Do these tests require special preparation?
  • How is this treated?
  • How long before the treatment starts working?
  • What side effects are possible with this medication?
  • I have other medical conditions. How do I manage them together?
  • Are there alternatives to antibiotics?
  • Is there a generic alternative to the medicine you’re prescribing?
  • How can I prevent this type of infection in the future?
  • Do you have any brochures or other printed material that I can have? What websites do you recommend?

Don’t hesitate to ask other questions you have.

What to expect from your doctor

Your doctor is likely to ask you a number of questions, such as:

  • When did your symptoms start?
  • Do you remember injuries or insect bites to that area?
  • How severe is the pain?
  • Does anything seem to improve your symptoms?
  • Are you allergic to or intolerant of any antibiotics?
  • Have you had this type of infection before?

What you can do in the meantime

You may need a prescription antibiotic to clear your infection. However, until you see your doctor, you can wash the injured area with soap and water and place a cool, damp cloth over the affected area for relief.

Cellulitis Specialist – Lansdowne, VA: Sarfraz A. Choudhary, M.D., F.A.C.P.: Infectious Disease Physician: Infectious Diseases Tropical Medicine & Travel Clinic

What is cellulitis?

When you get a cut, bruise, burn, or wound, your skin is vulnerable to bacteria. If bacteria get into the opening in your skin, it can cause an infection of the skin and the underlying tissue; this infection is cellulitis. Cellulitis is not contagious and can’t spread to other people.

If left untreated, though, it can spread on your body and become life-threatening. It’s important to seek medical attention from a specialist like Dr. Choudhary right away if you’re at risk for cellulitis and notice symptoms such as pain, redness, and swelling.

What are the risk factors for cellulitis?

When you have cellulitis, bacteria has entered a break in your skin. If you’ve had an injury or trauma, surgery, diabetes, or skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis, you’re at a higher risk than the rest of the population. People with liver diseases, blood circulation problems, and varicose veins are also at risk.  Other risk factors include a suppressed immune system, obesity, and intravenous drug use.

What are symptoms of cellulitis?

Symptoms can vary from person to person, but common ones include:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Tenderness
  • Pain
  • Warmth
  • Fever

In some cases, red spots and blisters develop. If your symptoms become severe or change rapidly, seek emergency care.

How can I prevent cellulitis?

You can prevent cellulitis with a little effort and care. If you get a wound or cut, keep it clean and apply an antibiotic ointment. Keep your wound covered with a bandage and change the bandage regularly to keep it clean.

How do you treat cellulitis?

During an exam, Dr. Choudhary inspects your skin and may take a blood test or skin culture to diagnose your condition accurately and develop a personalized treatment plan. In most cases, he prescribes oral antibiotics and asks that you elevate the infected area to help reduce swelling. He may also prescribe over-the-counter pain relievers to reduce your pain and fever.

If you don’t respond to oral antibiotics or the infection has spread, you may receive antibiotics or other medications delivered through your veins in the form of an IV in a hospital until your infection is under control. In rare cases, you may need surgery to drain pus that has collected in the tissue and to remove dead tissue.

Cellulitis Specialist – Hoboken, NJ: Avisheh Forouzesh, MD: Infectious Disease Specialist: Advanced Infectious Disease Medical

What is cellulitis?

Cellulitis is a potentially serious skin infection resulting from the entrance of bacteria through cuts or wounds on your skin, or as a result of an animal bite.

Group A streptococci and Staphylococcus are the most common of these bacteria which are part of the normal flora of the skin and normally do not cause actual infection while on the outer surface of the skin.

Cellulitis typically affects the skin on your lower legs, but it can also develop on your arms, face, and other areas of your body.

When not properly treated, cellulitis can develop into a life-threatening infection that can spread to the bloodstream and lymph nodes.

What are the symptoms of cellulitis?

Cellulitis often affects the skin on one side of your body. You may experience redness in the skin that becomes larger over time. Other common symptoms of cellulitis include:

  • Pain
  • Fever
  • Warmth
  • Tenderness
  • swelling

Red spots or blisters may also develop in the affected area.

What are my risks for developing cellulitis?

There are certain factors that may increase your risk of developing this type of skin infection. If you already have existing skin problems — such as eczema — you may be more likely to develop cellulitis.

Other risk factors for cellulitis include:

  • Diabetes
  • Being overweight
  • Weakened immune system
  • Chronic swelling in your legs or arms

If cellulitis is part of your medical history, you may be more susceptible to developing it again in the future.

Dr. Forouzesh can diagnose cellulitis after reviewing your symptoms and performing a physical exam.

What treatment options are available for cellulitis?

Typically, Dr. Forouzesh prescribes an antibiotic to clear the infection. Depending on the size and depth of the infection, Dr. Forouzesh will determine if you need oral or intravenous antibiotics.

She will recommend close follow-ups to be sure the infection has cleared and to prevent future skin infections or cellulitis.

How can I prevent cellulitis?

To prevent a skin infection, it’s important that you tend to cuts or open wounds as soon as they happen. Wash the area with soap and water, and cover the area with gauze if there is an open wound.

If you have an underlying medical condition like diabetes that increases your risk for cellulitis, you should routinely check your skin for signs of infection. Use a high-quality moisturizer to prevent cracking in your skin.

If you notice any sign of infection, schedule a visit with Dr. Forouzesh as soon as possible for an evaluation.

Cellulitis (Skin and Soft Tissue Infection)

Cellulitis is a deep skin infection (affecting the skin underneath the outer layer of dermis). The infection is most commonly caused by Staphylococcus or Streptococcus bacteria. Deep skin infections are uncomfortable and annoying to start, but, if not treated quickly, can escalate into a more serious infection. Because the infection is in the lower layers of the skin, it can spread quickly into vital organs and/or lead to a bone infection.

Talking with an expert in infectious disease is an important first step to prevent any unwanted complications.

Texas Infectious Disease Institute is a great choice for treatment of deep skin infections. Dr. Serge Lartchenko has a long history of treating complex infections quickly and effectively. How Do I Know If I Have Cellulitis?

The symptoms are similar to any other infection. Seek medical attention if you experience redness, pain, swelling, or warmth of skin in a localized area. The need for treatment is especially urgent when an infection is in a sensitive part of the body, like the eye socket.

Additionally, people who are at a greater risk of infection need to be particularly aware of cellulitis. Some factors that increase your risk for infection include:

How Serious is Cellulitis?

Most cellulitis infections shouldn’t alarm you. It is a common infection that frequently requires minimal treatment. In some rare instances, more complicated conditions can develop, which is why treatment is important. Some of the rare complications associated with deep skin infections include it spreading to the bloodstream leading to sepsis or blood poisoning and a possibility of gangrene.

If you have an infection confirmed to be cellulitis, do not worry about spreading it to your loved ones. Cellulitis is not contagious, as long as you don’t have an open wound. This is because the infection is within the skin, so the dermis is able to prevent the infection from spreading.

What you Need to know, When to go to the ER

Cellulitis: What you Need to know and When to Visit the ER

Cellulitis is a skin disease. Cellulitis Emergency happens when bacteria manages to get under the skin and spread to the tissues beneath, cellulitis can develop. The bacteria responsible are Streptococcus or Staphylococcus.

In most cases, Cellulitis Emergency is not a serious, life-threatening condition and as a bacterial skin infection, is easily treated with antibiotics. Cellulitis Emergency does, however, need treating, since if you leave it to its own devices it will probably get worse.

If you suspect a Cellulitis Emergency you should go and see your doctor as soon as possible to avoid potential complications. Keep an eye on the suspected area from day to day, and if you notice any worsening or spreading of the signs or symptoms, seek medical care.

What Does Cellulitis Emergency Look like?

The first thing you may notice is redness and inflammation at the site of the infection. This may swell, feel warmer to the touch and surrounding areas, and become painfully tender. The skin may crack or split and leak fluid or pus and you may notice red streaks extending from the area.

As well as these physical symptoms you may have a general feeling of illness or malaise. In more severe instances you may also experience fevers, chills, and sweats.

What Causes Cellulitis?

Anyone can be at risk from cellulitis emergency, and it can affect almost any part of the body, especially where the skin is damaged or broken.

  • Broken or damaged skin can come from skin conditions such as eczema, acne, psoriasis or scabies as well as from general cuts and grazes.
  • Insect bites puncture the skin and can put you at risk.
  • Cellulitis can sometimes result from surgical wounds.
  • Foreign objects becoming embedded in or under the skin (such as glass, metal or ceramics) can lead to cellulitis.

Cellulitis Diagnosis

Cellulitis Emergency Diagnosis is normally a simple matter for your doctor, based on a physical exam and your medical history.

Occasionally the doctor may request some blood work if he or she suspects infection has passed into the bloodstream, or to check your white blood cell count. If a foreign object is suspected, the doctor may also order an x-ray. In some instances, fluid may be taken from the affected area then sent to the lab for testing.

Cellulitis Treatment

Cellulitis Emergency is normally treated with antibiotics you can take orally for a week to ten days. If antibiotics are prescribed for you, make sure you take the entire course of treatment even if the infection seems to be getting better after a few days. Occasionally stronger antibiotics may be needed and these are generally given in hospital intravenously (although sometimes this can be administered at home).

During your recovery at home, you should get plenty of rest so the body can concentrate on fighting the infection. If you can keep the area of infection raised, this will help ease swelling, improve drainage and reduce any pain. Over-the-counter pain relievers may also help reduce inflammation or fevers.

Preventing Cellulitis Emergency

Sensible precautions against accidental injuries are the first guard against cellulitis. For instance, taking care when using knives or other sharp instruments, and not going barefoot in hazardous areas such as on the beach or in the forest.Cellulitis is also easily spread from skin to skin contact or by touching infected surfaces.

Simple precautions can help reduce the chances of infection spreading:

  • Daily showering or bathing.
  • Frequent hand washing.
  • Keeping wounds covered.
  • Not sharing towels with others.
  • Regularly changing and washing bed linen.

When Cellulitis Becomes an Emergency

There are some instances when cellulitis needs urgent emergency room treatment. If you notice any of the following symptoms, please treat them seriously and get urgent medical care:

Certain pre-existing medical conditions can also increase the seriousness of cellulitis, so if you have any of the following you should also seek urgent medical care:

  • Diabetes
  • Liver conditions such as cirrhosis or hepatitis
  • Kidney disease
  • Circulatory problems or varicose veins
  • Eczema or psoriasis
  • Any medical problems that can be made worse by other infections
  • Impaired immune systems

In addition, certain areas of the body are more sensitive than others, for instance in or around the eyes. Children with facial cellulitis can sometimes develop brain or eye infections. These are potentially dangerous so should always be treated as an emergency.

Often, skin conditions don’t appear to be an emergency initially, but in the long term, they can become problematic. As with any health concern, prompt treatment results in faster healing and fewer complications. It is far better to seek medical advice as soon as you suspect infection rather than waiting to see what happens.

Infectious diseases specialist management improves outcomes for outpatients diagnosed with cellulitis in the emergency department: a double cohort study

Automatic ID consultation for cellulitis diagnosed in the emergency room was implemented.

ID consultation reduced hospitalization and disease recurrence.

ID consultation led to earlier narrowing of the antibiotic spectrum.

ID consultation identified cellulitis mimickers allowing for care of the true issue.

ID consultation led to identification and treatment of predisposing conditions.

Three hospital emergency rooms (ERs) routinely referred all cases of cellulitis requiring outpatient intravenous antibiotics, to a central ER-staffed cellulitis clinic. We performed a retrospective cohort study of all patients seen by the ER clinic in the last 4 months preceding a policy change (ER management cohort [ERMC]) (n = 149) and all those seen in the first 3 months of a new policy of automatic referral to an infectious disease (ID) specialist–supervised cellulitis clinic (ID management cohort [IDMC]) (n = 136). Fifty-four (40%) of 136 patients in the IDMC were given an alternative diagnosis (noncellulitis), compared to 16 (11%) of 149 in the ERMC (P < 0.0001). Logistic regression–demonstrated rates of disease recurrence were lower in the IDMC than the ERMC (hazard ratio [HR], 0.06; P = 0.003), as were rates of hospitalization (HR, 0.11; P = 0.01). There was no significant difference in mortality. Automatic ID consultation for cellulitis was beneficial in differentiating mimickers from true cellulitis, reducing recurrence, and preventing hospital admissions.

Cellulite treatment

For the treatment of cellulite in our clinic we offer an “integrated approach”: these are not separate procedures, but a range of services to obtain a complete result.

We select cellulite treatment methods according to their specific tasks, for example, to tighten the skin, one method is needed, and to remove extra centimeters, another, etc.This is the secret of those achievements and results that make women happier!

Many people mistakenly believe that cellulite occurs when overeating. In fact, a whole variety of mechanisms for the formation of this pathology are known, these are:

  • hormonal imbalance;
  • hereditary predisposition;
  • inappropriate nutrition;
  • stress;
  • physical inactivity;
  • bad habits;
  • pregnancy and childbirth;
  • uncontrolled intake of certain drugs.

Cellulite accumulates as a result of microcirculation and lymphatic drainage disorders, which is more often observed in the buttocks area. As a result, the nutrition of the subcutaneous fat changes, and there is a supersaturation with toxic substances. Against the background of hormonal imbalance, the percentage of fat deposition increases, cellulite occurs in the abdomen, arms, thighs and buttocks.

Cellulite on the buttocks occurs not only in overweight people, rather slender people also talk about the appearance of irregularities on the buttocks and thighs.Not everyone knows how to eliminate pathological fat deposits and normalize weight without harming the skin. Often, with a non-professional approach, the formation of hematomas and abrasions is noted, which further aggravates cellulite and causes irreparable harm to health.

Diet and sports will be beneficial, but will not cope with the disease. Here you need to know when to stop: fasting will cause stress, fitness will rather help you correct your shape, but will not eliminate cellulite on the buttocks.

Experienced specialists with extensive experience in body shaping and weight loss work at Cellulite.Modern anti-cellulite programs and the latest equipment guarantee patients real results at the most affordable prices in Moscow.

Doctors prefer an integrated approach when choosing treatment tactics:

  • normalization of blood flow, lymph outflow;
  • activation of metabolic processes;
  • cleansing the body from toxins;
  • Massaging the foci of accumulation of cellulite;
  • lifting, restoration of skin elasticity and tone.

The main task for prescribing the treatment of cellulite of the buttocks, thighs, Cellulite specialists consider the definition of the stage of the disease.There are 4 degrees of severity of the problem:

At the first stage, there are practically no external signs of the disease, but serious disorders are already present. Pathology can be suspected by swelling.

In the second degree of disorders, tissue changes are visible during muscle tension. The appearance of an orange peel, flabbiness, pallor of the skin is noted, which confirms the presence of a violation of blood circulation.

At the third stage, the orange peel on the epithelium is visible at rest. It is at this stage that most patients usually go to the clinic.

At the final stage, cellulite on the buttocks resembles jelly when moving, which is associated with a total change in microcirculation, when the vessels are strongly compressed by the surrounding fatty tissue.

Determination of the degree of violation predetermines further tactics, duration and methods of therapy.

When the focus of the disease is identified, the stage of the disorder is determined, after examination and the identification of contraindications, the optimal individual treatment of cellulite is prescribed.To make the result really noticeable, the clinic uses a multi-stage system aimed at eliminating pathology:

  • Problem identified.
  • Outline of problem areas: buttocks, abdomen, thighs.
  • Clarification of the degree of violations.
  • Preparation for the anti-cellulite program: examination, identification of triggers responsible for the pathology, contraindications.
  • Selection of the optimal correction technique.
  • After the full course, a detailed scheme of further treatment, frequency and types of supporting procedures is prescribed.

Do not think that after 1-2 sessions of fat burning therapy, the treatment will end. The buttocks are the most cellulite-prone area. After the termination of therapy, if the instructions of the specialists are not followed, cellulite may reappear.

The sculptors of the center’s figure at the initial stages of the disease recommend eliminating the influence of factors causing disturbances. Cellulite on the buttocks is reduced by manual and hardware methods of exposure: massage, vacuum massage, medical wraps.At the first stage, the pathology is eliminated quickly and efficiently. However, you need to complete the full course of the prescribed complex treatment, follow all the doctor’s prescriptions. To consolidate the result, you need a balanced diet, dosed physical activity.

At the next stage, it is possible to use all types of manual and apparatus massage, balneotherapy, therapeutic masks for the body. Hydromassage allows you to relax and restore a toned look to the skin. The addition of special agents (such as algae) to the whirlpool tub further enhances the lymphatic drainage effect.Cellulite at this stage is also quickly treated with the right therapy.

In the third degree, treatment is long-term, aimed not only at normalizing blood flow, but also at eliminating excess fatty tissue on the buttocks. Thanks to special techniques, the process of lipolysis (destruction of fat cells) is activated, which leads to a decrease in body volume. It is recommended to resort to lymphatic drainage techniques, ozone and mesotherapy, vacuum roller massage. Another way to break up cellulite on the buttocks is ultrasonic cavitation.

At the last stage, cellulite on the buttocks is treatable after several complex anti-cellulite courses. Injection lipolysis is an effective treatment. Medication fat burning mixtures act like liposuction, removing excess tissue. The best result is achieved with surgical correction of the buttocks, but this approach is used in extreme cases.

Complex anti-cellulite programs “Cellulite” allow you to improve the contours of the figure, tighten the skin, and rejuvenate the body. During the sessions, puffiness, congestion in blood vessels are eliminated, metabolic processes are normalized. Cellulite goes away, the likelihood of relapse decreases, mood improves and fat deposits on the buttocks decrease.

For the treatment of cellulite, our clinic offers a number of services:

  • hardware massage – improves metabolic processes in tissues;
  • manual massage – improves muscle tone, reduces body fat and increases blood circulation;
  • dermotonia – eliminates cellulite due to the work of rotating teflon or marble microspheres, creating a vacuum effect;
  • mesotherapy – injections of special preparations that improve skin condition, break down fats and remove toxins;
  • intralipotherapy – introduction of the lipolytic preparation Aqualyx into the subcutaneous fat;
  • balneotherapy (hydromassage) – improves blood circulation, stimulates collagen production, helps to remove minor fat deposits;
  • endosphere therapy – removes the orange peel effect, gives lightness to the legs, improves blood circulation and oxygenation;
  • anhor free 8 is a combination of 4 methods.Vacuum massage, mechanical action; RF lifting; laser lipolysis. During the procedure, metabolic processes are activated, the intensity of blood and lymph circulation is improved, muscle tissue is maximally toned;
  • RF-body lifting is a popular and effective way to deal with a whole range of problems – cellulite, poor skin condition, stretch marks, overweight, etc. This is an excellent choice for those who do not intend to put up with age-related changes and weight gain.
  • smas body lifting is an ultrasound procedure for tightening and rejuvenating the body without surgery. Just one session is enough to get a noticeable result.

The doctors of the clinic warn that each method of restoring forms has its own characteristics and contraindications. These include inflammatory diseases in the acute stage, cancer, pregnancy and lactation, damage to the skin, severe systemic diseases, and others.

Please note: in the struggle for an ideal figure, an integrated approach is important and additional efforts will have to be made to increase the effectiveness of the hardware program for body shaping.

And one more thing, I would like to say that specially trained doctors, who are not indifferent to the health of our patients, should deal with the treatment of cellulite. Contact our medical center for cellulite treatment and weight correction.

90,000 4 mistakes in the fight against cellulite – advice from doctors of the “EuroMed Clinic”

Oh, this terrible word “cellulite” – what we just do not do to get rid of the notorious “orange peel” on the thighs … But unfortunately, sometimes, it seems that all our efforts are in vain, and we will never achieve perfect skin smoothness! Let’s talk about why sometimes all efforts to combat cellulite are ineffective, what are we doing wrong?

Cellulite is the unevenness of the skin of the thighs, buttocks, sometimes shoulders, arms, abdomen – bumps, depressions, bumps, etc.From a medical point of view, in small quantities, these phenomena are absolutely normal and are associated with the structural features of the subcutaneous fat layer. Cellulite becomes more pronounced when microcirculation and lymphatic drainage are disturbed. In medicine, there is no such thing as cellulite at all, the doctor will say: lipodystrophy or liposclerosis. But in any case, this is not a disease.

To reduce the manifestations of cellulite, it is necessary to establish microcirculation and lymphatic drainage.And the main role here is played by massage. Manual anti-cellulite from a masseur or hardware from a beautician.

One of the most effective remedies in the fight against cellulite is LPG massage. During the procedure, subcutaneous fat is worked out, the condition of the skin and lymphatic drainage are improved, blood circulation is increased, and this work continues up to 6 hours after the procedure.

It is ideal to combine LPG massage with Futura Pro procedures and mesotherapy.

1 mistake: to get rid of cellulite you need to lose weight

Alas, cellulite is not directly related to being overweight, it occurs even in very slender women.All healthy people have a subcutaneous fat layer (now we do not consider cases of anorexia and abnormal exhaustion), and this layer has an uneven structure – which, in fact, gives unevenness on the skin.

Diets will not help you in the fight against cellulite, although, of course, the less body fat, the less noticeable the “orange peel” effect.

2 error: do not take into account the stage of development of cellulite

Yes, cellulite has different stages – from the first to the fourth.And if at the first stage, in order to get rid of this scourge, it is enough to change the diet, increase physical activity, perform massage with anti-cellulite cream, then with a more serious development of this condition, you cannot do without a beautician, massage therapist and hardware procedures.

3 error: non-systematic approach

The problem of cellulite must be solved with a set of measures. Exercise or rubbing in cream alone will not help.

To get rid of cellulite, we recommend combining: healthy, balanced nutrition, daily contrast shower of problem areas and manual massage with anti-cellulite agents, physical activity, drainage and lipolytic wraps and LPG massage hardware procedures, Futura PRO.

Regularity and consistency are especially important in this matter – there will be no effect from a thigh massage once a week!

4 error: violation of lymphatic drainage

The development of cellulite provokes a lifestyle. Prolonged stay in one position, inactivity impede the circulation of blood and lymph, lead to venous congestion, edema. This aggravates the appearance of cellulite.

Too tight clothes and high-heeled shoes also make it difficult for lymphatic drainage.There is anti-cellulite underwear on free sale, but you can wear it only after consulting a specialist – because incorrectly selected underwear also leads to difficulty in blood outflow and lymph stagnation.

Why does cellulite occur?

In the ranking of men’s preferences for the female body, the breast goes to the gold medal. And the silver, of course, the buttocks. Forms, elasticity, smoothness and tightness of the “fifth point” invariably attracts the close attention of the stronger sex.At the same time, it is the shape and skin of the buttocks that are most difficult to maintain in a flawless, “girlish” form. And there are many reasons for this — a sedentary, sedentary lifestyle, stress, intake of high-calorie foods — with flour, sweet and fatty foods at the head of the table. Last but not least, they affect the appearance of unsightly irregularities and fluctuations in the hormonal background, which women are so exposed to throughout their lives. Finally, one should not discount the genetic factor: the amount of fat cells laid down by genetics and the metabolism of each of us is individual.Under equal nutritional conditions, some develop rounded shapes, while others literally “burn out” calories. However, even the owners of a slim figure slow down their metabolism with age: “lazy” blood and lymph circulation lead to stagnant processes.

What is cellulite?

Cellulite itself is an overgrowth, an increase in the volume of fat cells in the hypodermis, or subcutaneous fat. Cells grow unevenly, and therefore “tuberosity” is formed. As the scale of the disaster increases, so too does our lifestyle. At first, we refuse to visit crowded pools and beaches, then we exclude tight clothes from our wardrobe, gradually cultivating complexes and insecurity in ourselves.

Types of cellulite.

Cellulite is of several types.

  • At the initial stage of the disease, we are dealing with an adipose (soft) subclass. Its habitats are thighs, buttocks, abdomen and shoulders. This type of cellulite is triggered by an unhealthy diet: too fatty, sugary foods that form excess body weight.

  • “Water” cellulite is caused by impaired blood circulation in the problem area, edema.

  • Finally, fibrous cellulite – hard to touch and painful – is the most difficult to “break”.

Recommendations Chirkova ML: “Cellulite affects not only the aesthetics of the body and self-esteem, but also the state of health. Uneven growth of adipose tissue leads to squeezing of blood vessels.In the problem area, blood circulation and lymphatic drainage are disturbed. In the area of fatty deposits, stagnant phenomena are formed: products of cell metabolism, toxins accumulate here, which negatively affects metabolic processes in the body. Cellulite in its advanced stage can provoke various diseases. Its formation in the area of breeches or inner thighs due to compression of blood vessels can increase the manifestations of varicose veins. ”

In the fight against cellulite to improve the turgor and tightening of the skin in the buttocks, it is important to use an integrated approach.Diets and visits to the gym are clearly not enough here.

So how do you get rid of cellulite? LPG therapy

Endermologic gymnastics is sometimes used to increase the effectiveness of LPG body shaping procedures. During such a procedure, the specialist prompts the patient about certain body postures, in which there is tension and muscle contraction under the area processed by the maniple. LPG gymnastics:

  • allows you to effectively treat even hard-to-reach areas of the body.

  • there is a directed effect on the most “stubborn” fatty deposits.

  • produces local volume reduction, modeling of certain areas of the body, depending on the wishes of the patient.

In combination with various cosmetic procedures, the thermage technique is used. At the GrandMed clinic, it is represented by RF-therapy, which allows to reduce the skin area by 10–0%, and gives results comparable to light surgical lifting. Thermage procedure:

  • painless and does not require rehabilitation

  • does not leave scars and traces of impact

  • and the result is impressive: the skin becomes smooth, firm and elastic

Pressotherapy is involved in solving problems in the hip area and getting rid of the unpleasant effect of breeches, especially if congestion is observed.The computer supplies air to a special suit worn by the patient. Pressotherapy is called “squeezing” massage, which, due to the strength of the impact, replaces up to 4 sessions of manual or lymphatic drainage. After pressotherapy:

  • pleasant warmth, lightness is felt

  • extra pounds go away

  • lymphatic drainage of tissues occurs

  • increased blood microcirculation

  • acceleration of cellular metabolism

  • burning excess fatty tissue

Injections: mesodissolution and Aqualix

Injections of miraculous cocktails in the area of fatty deposits on the abdomen can work wonders. Mesodissolution is a method of administering a drug using multiple fat-burning micro-injections directly into the places of fatty deposits. For the same purposes “AQUALYX” is suitable for which a unique intralipotherapy procedure is carried out. This is a non-surgical method for effective and safe correction of local fat deposits in the abdomen, thighs, breeches, and shoulders. Procedures:

  • practically painless and does not require special rehabilitation

  • drugs are non-toxic and work only in a given area

  • the effect is noticeable after the first procedure

  • Destroyed fat cells are naturally excreted from the body

“Express programs”

Express weight loss in problem areas is provided by a special program of the GrandMed clinic, which in essence approaches non-surgical liposuction: combining RF-lipolysis with the simultaneous administration of meso-cocktails.After warming up the problem area, injections of special substances are made, which accelerate the process of splitting fat cells. The complex impact leads to impressive results.
