It is used as a prescription drug for reproductive problems and is not approved for over-the-counter use. HCG, however, is still sold illegally and is marketed by some companies for this diet. Proponents of the hCG diet say the hormone causes the body to lose fat, not muscle. People usually take the hormone as liquid drops, as a spray, or as an injection.

Therefore, at the 4th week of pregnancy, the production of hCG may not yet begin, respectively, household tests and laboratory tests will not be able to detect it even when the pregnancy has already begun. In this case, you just need to be patient and repeat the tests regularly. The results will be more reliable when the period of the next menstruation approaches.
