Take one a day for prevention and added vitamins, brand name, trusted and high quality, used as a Senior Citizen and male. Only issue, is the size of the vitamin makes it difficult for me to swallow. Otherwise it is worth the money, and difficulty in swallowing. I only purchase supplements that are of a brand name, and have a history of quality control. Just started taking this. Sure if you east well and a Varity of fruits veggies and healthy meat and fish you may not require, however, if you do not eat well, you absolutely need a multi… there are many minerals that interact with each other and rely on eachother. The real test is a full blood workup before you begin and lets say 1-2 months again. That would be a good test not just “how you feel”

I started taking these 10 months ago. I found them difficult to sallow and they caused nausea so I started taking them at bedtime. Since being on these my healthy liver that was screened at the time I started these is now toxic and fatty. I also have twitching in my left eye and neuropathy. This is the only thing that has changed in my life. From reading other’s experiences there seems a direct correlation. I will not be taking another centrum tablet. Please beware!

Caused major gas. I stopped using the product for two weeks and the gas went away. I started taking it again and the gas returned. And not a very pleasant gas either!

It is a definite choking hazard. Every time I take one I choke, and cough a lot as it stays lodged in my throat. It takes an hour or so for it to dislodge and go down.
I do not like them at all.

I switched to the gummies because the pills are huge and hard to swallow, I was breaking them in half. Have noticed no gain from taking them. Just read another review where they stated these were made in a communist country and who knows what controls are in place for safety in production. I will never buy these again.

At age 71 have been taking Centrum for 10 months just to be sure I’m not deficient in vitamins, one tablet a day after a meal but without any noticeable changes in anything. The vitamins have had Zero effect so will stop taking this “nutritional supplement” after the last bottle. For me it’s like taking an expensive placebo. My elevated concern is about quality control for a product Made In China – By Wyeth Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd at Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on behalf of Pfizer. What level of oversight in a communist country can there be about genuine product ingredients? I just don’t trust communist control in the manufacturing process. I have been taking Centrum Silver for males over 50 for years. As a shift worker, I usually take a half a pill because it makes it harder to sleep if I take a full pill. For me it seems to make a positive difference. I have noticed at times of taking a whole pill that I experience burning in the eyes.

Mother in law has taken for years, now has neuropathy in feet & hands. Neurologist found high b- 6 levels causing nerve damage. Centrum silver has 3 times daily values of b-6. She believed vitamins would help health, boy was she wrong. Warning.

I have taken Centrum Silver for several years. Recently I found tablets of the same shape but a different color in the container. I contacted the company and was asked to send them in. I sent in a sample but they refuse to tell me what they were. They said I have no proof that they were in the container when I bought it.

Total illusion and mere money grabber. Don’t believe in these things. Watch your diet instead: there is no replacement for actual healthy foods. This won’t do anything for you. Just reading the comments makes me laugh though folks are careful not to overvalue this so-called product, except for the outright liar with a stake in sales. Drop the vitamin nonsense! I take nothing and am doing fine.

I use to take other vitamins but I switched to Centrum Silver. I took it 4 different times. The first time was fine, the second I had a sudden stomach ache so strong that I had to lie in bed for an hour. I wasn’t sure it was from the vitamins, as the third time was fine. The forth and last time, I took it in the morning after toast and was feeling so sick, I wanted to vomit. I didn’t vomit because I tried really hard not to as I was walking in the street in my way to work. I do not recommend this product at all.Read More Read Less

I have always read that taking vitamins was a waste of time and money. This is false, as my brother went to his doctor about tingling sensation in his hands and fingers. The doctor had him take B6, and after a few days, the tingling went away. I took B6, and too my dismay, I has twitching of my eyes, and it was really annoying. So I read all the info on B6, and it does have something to do with nerve stimulation. I stopped taking the B6 because I did not need it, it was massive dose of 100 Mg, and that is far too much if you do not have a deficiency. I started taking Centrum Silver because of my age, and the decrease in the amount, and variety of food I have been eating. One thing about aging is that you body needs different nutrition than when you are young, and your body can process everything you eat efficiently. So as you age, your body can have trouble getting all of your nutrition through your food. The Centrum Silver is just a way to supplement the vitamins my body needs to heal, and my muscles need to recover from a vigorous workout in the gym. You may think that the vitamins are doing nothing, but you may not notice a minor setback in nutrition, so maybe you don’;t need it. This can be true if you are relatively young, and your body works as it should, and you have a good diet with a variety of vegetables, and animal protein, minus RED MEAT, stay away from RED MEAT, it is very bad for you, and it is proven to cause cancer growth. Don’t let marketing hype, or the fact that you love a good steak, to risk your health on Red Meat. A very small amount will not be harmful, and may actually help, but eating a lot of it is too much. I have taken women’s centrum silver 50+ for years now once daily. I am toxic on vitamin B6. Had to stop this vitamin and am taking no vitamin at all. Now I have neuropathy of leg and arm. This may never go away even though I stopped the vitamin. Watch vitamin intake they are not good for you.

My mother is in her early seventies and she lost a lot of weight not long ago, because she went on prayer and fasting (though we told her not to).
My sister, who happens to be a doctor, gave her a bottle of Centrum Silver to help her recover. My mother took it faithfully and I really like the outcome.
Her eyes which were a bit sunken, filled up, her hips went back to being full ( she is pear-shaped) and her general countenance became good. She no longer looks tired most of the day.

Several of the older women in the family take this supplement. I have tried a some before and I can see why they like it. Other than the fact that the pills are enormous and sometimes can be hard to swallow unless you cut them in half. I have heard excellent reviews about this product from the women in my family who have been taking this supplement. They say they feel much more energized. I experienced the very same thing when I took it. They are pretty easy on my stomach. Make sure you take this multivitamin with food. Also, make sure you have a giant glass of water when you take this multivitamin. This multivitamin has all of the vitamins that women need for maximum health. The women in my family seem to be maintaining their health and energy and I am sure that this product aids them in doing so. Other than the fact that this multivitamin is pretty expensive and that the pills are like horse pills, I recommend it.

This multi vitamin is excellent especially for women because it is specially formulated for a woman and includes all the daily percentages and allowances of vitamins and minerals that are needed each day. I like that I can take one pill and it has everything I need in it. Centrum is a well known vitamin company and these vitamins are always available in any store I go to purchase my vitamins. I always know I can depend on this brand have exactly what I need. I have taken this vitamin for several years. It was the one recommended by my doctor so I assumed that it worked. Now I don’t know. The price is comparable with other vitamin products. The pill is easy to take. It is a hard pill so I wondered how well it dissolved. I tried it in a glass of water and found that it took a long time to dissolve entirely. Of course there is not water in the digestive track. There is stomach acid so it might dissolve faster there than in my digestive track. Centrum Silver Ultra Women’s Multivitamin is designed for women. It has a nice mix of the vitamins you expect as well as mineral supplements that are part of a normal diet. It is hard to get all of your vitamins in what you eat today. We are a nation of fast food junkies. Even if we do not stop at the local fast food restaurant we buy easy to fix dishes that are processed food. To have a really good diet we would need to but fresh and cook almost every meal. Being in my late 40’s, I have recently switched from the Centrum Ultra Women’s Multivitamin/Multimineral Supplement to the Centrum Silver Multivitamin/Multimineral Supplement, designed for women over 50. This product has higher levels of a number of vitamins and three minerals than the women-under-50 supplement, but also offers lower amounts of iron, magnesium and copper — I don’t know why this would be as I am not a health professional. Most importantly to me at the time, the Centrum Silver Women’s costs the same as the Centrum Ultra Women’s, but Centrum offers higher value coupons for the Silver, effectively making it less expensive.
Every analysis of Centrum vitamins I have seen concludes that the amounts of the vitamins and minerals listed are accurate, so I trust this product line completely. My diet is generally low in fruits, vegetables and whole grains, so I take a multivitamin to try to supplement these holes in my diet.
One more reason I have decided to move from the Centrum Ultra to the Centrum Silver: the Ultra contains only 6 mcg of B-12 (which is 100% of the U.S. RDI), while the Silver contains 50 mcg (833%). While I was on the Ultra, I had pain on the sides of my tongue, a common symptom of a B-12 deficiency, which led to my doctor suggesting an additional B-complex supplement. I hope that once I have been on the Centrum Silver for a few months I can stop taking that additional supplement, which is fairly expensive.

It is easy to take, comes in purple color which I thought was funny..like the color really matters? It contains the full required amount of nutrients in this pill to be in a daily vitamin. The specialists are good, but a decent amount of money is spent. 5 sessions with Vladimir Vladimirovich: I set the joint, corrected the spine, showed the exercises that I really need. Sergei Vitalievich is an excellent person and specialist who sincerely cares about the condition of his patient. He shares all his knowledge and skills, he will suggest exercises and medicines, including neurology. In some clinics like CNMT, a chiropractor sits with a crown, he says you came to the chiropractor, so come to me as a neurologist, I’ll tell you how to get rid of your headache = pulling money.
