Understanding Mag 07: An Oxygenating Digestive Cleanser
Mag 07 is a dietary supplement marketed as an oxygenating digestive cleanser. Manufactured by NB Pure (formerly known as Aerobic Life Industries), this product claims to cleanse the colon and entire digestive system, potentially aiding in weight loss and overall digestive health.
The primary active ingredient in Mag 07 is ozonated magnesium oxides, which are designed to release Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in the digestive tract. These ROS are purported to support the growth of beneficial bacteria and aid in the breakdown of waste material in the colon.
Key Claims of Mag 07
- Cleanses the digestive tract of “unwanted debris”
- Promotes the growth of friendly bacteria
- Acts as a stool softener
- Aids in weight loss through colon cleansing
- Detoxifies other organs besides the colon
While these claims are intriguing, it’s important to approach them with a critical eye and examine the scientific evidence supporting (or refuting) them.
The Science Behind Mag 07: Examining the Evidence
Despite the bold claims made by NB Pure, the scientific evidence supporting the efficacy of ozonated magnesium oxides for digestive health is limited. A review of available research reveals some important points:
- There is a lack of specific studies on ozonated supplements for digestive health
- Magnesium is known to have a laxative effect, which could explain some of the cleansing properties of Mag 07
- The use of laxatives for weight loss is not considered safe or effective by medical professionals
While the concept of releasing oxygen in the digestive tract sounds promising, more research is needed to substantiate the specific benefits claimed by Mag 07.
Can Mag 07 Really Oxygenate Your Digestive System?
The idea of “oxygenating” the digestive system is a popular one in alternative health circles, but it’s important to understand the scientific context. Our digestive system is not designed to process significant amounts of oxygen, as it primarily operates in an anaerobic environment. While some oxygen is present in the gut, dramatically increasing its levels may not necessarily lead to improved digestive health.
Ingredients and Formulation of Mag 07
The primary active ingredient in Mag 07 is a proprietary blend of ozonated magnesium oxides. This blend is designed to release oxygen slowly over time, theoretically providing a prolonged cleansing effect. Other ingredients include:
- Elemental Magnesium
- Citric Acid
- Vegetable Capsules
The exact proportions of these ingredients are not disclosed on the product label, which makes it difficult to evaluate their potential effectiveness or compare them to other magnesium supplements.
The Role of Magnesium in Digestive Health
Magnesium is an essential mineral that plays numerous roles in the body, including supporting digestive health. It can help relax the muscles in the digestive tract, which may ease constipation and promote more regular bowel movements. However, it’s important to note that while magnesium can have a laxative effect, this doesn’t necessarily equate to “cleansing” or “detoxifying” the colon in the way that Mag 07 claims.
Potential Benefits of Using Mag 07
While the scientific evidence for some of Mag 07’s claims is limited, users may experience certain benefits from using this supplement:
- Improved Bowel Regularity: The magnesium content may help promote more regular bowel movements.
- Relief from Constipation: As a stool softener, Mag 07 may provide relief for those struggling with constipation.
- Potential Digestive Comfort: Some users report feeling “lighter” and experiencing less bloating after using Mag 07.
- Possible Support for Gut Bacteria: While not conclusively proven, the oxygen release may create an environment that supports beneficial gut bacteria.
It’s crucial to remember that individual experiences may vary, and these potential benefits should be weighed against possible side effects and the lack of robust scientific evidence.
Side Effects and Safety Considerations of Mag 07
As with any supplement, Mag 07 may cause side effects in some users. Common reported side effects include:
- Nausea
- Heartburn
- Abdominal cramping
- Diarrhea
These side effects are often associated with the laxative properties of magnesium. It’s important to start with a low dose and increase gradually to minimize the risk of these effects.
Who Should Avoid Mag 07?
Certain individuals should exercise caution or avoid using Mag 07 altogether:
- Pregnant or nursing women
- Individuals with kidney problems
- Those with severe gastrointestinal disorders
- People taking medications that may interact with magnesium
Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or are taking other medications.
Proper Usage and Dosage Guidelines for Mag 07
To maximize potential benefits and minimize side effects, it’s crucial to follow the recommended dosage guidelines for Mag 07:
- Start with a low dose of 1-2 capsules before bedtime on an empty stomach.
- Gradually increase the dosage to 3-4 capsules per night as tolerated.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support the cleansing process.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless directed by a healthcare professional.
It’s important to note that Mag 07 is not intended for long-term daily use. Typically, it’s recommended to use the product for a cleansing period of 7-10 days, followed by a break before repeating if necessary.
Can Mag 07 Be Used for Weight Loss?
While some users may experience temporary weight loss due to increased bowel movements, it’s crucial to understand that this is not a sustainable or healthy method for long-term weight management. The Journal of American College Health has warned against using laxatives for weight loss, as this practice can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and other health issues.
User Experiences and Reviews of Mag 07
User reviews of Mag 07 are mixed, with some reporting positive experiences and others expressing disappointment or concerns about side effects. Here’s a summary of common themes in user feedback:
Positive Experiences:
- Improved regularity and relief from constipation
- Reduced bloating and feelings of digestive discomfort
- Increased energy and overall well-being
Negative Experiences:
- Uncomfortable side effects such as cramping and diarrhea
- Lack of noticeable results
- Concerns about long-term safety and effectiveness
It’s important to remember that individual experiences can vary widely, and online reviews should be considered anecdotal evidence rather than scientific proof of efficacy.
Alternatives to Mag 07 for Digestive Health
For those seeking to improve their digestive health, there are several alternatives to consider before turning to a supplement like Mag 07:
- Dietary Changes: Increasing fiber intake through whole foods can naturally support digestive health and regularity.
- Hydration: Drinking adequate water throughout the day is crucial for maintaining healthy digestion.
- Probiotics: These beneficial bacteria can support gut health and may improve digestive symptoms.
- Exercise: Regular physical activity can help stimulate healthy bowel movements.
- Stress Management: Chronic stress can negatively impact digestion, so stress-reduction techniques may be beneficial.
If digestive issues persist, it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out underlying conditions and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
The Bottom Line on Mag 07: Weighing the Pros and Cons
Mag 07 is a dietary supplement that claims to offer digestive cleansing and support through its ozonated magnesium oxide formulation. While some users report positive experiences, the scientific evidence supporting its specific claims is limited. Here’s a summary of the key points to consider:
Potential Pros:
- May provide relief from constipation
- Could support more regular bowel movements
- Some users report reduced bloating and improved digestive comfort
Potential Cons:
- Limited scientific evidence supporting specific claims
- Possible side effects, including nausea and abdominal discomfort
- Not suitable for long-term daily use
- May be contraindicated for certain individuals with health conditions
Ultimately, while Mag 07 may offer some benefits for digestive health, it’s important to approach it with realistic expectations and to prioritize overall lifestyle factors that support digestive wellness. As with any supplement, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating Mag 07 into your routine, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns.
Remember, there’s no substitute for a balanced diet, regular exercise, and proper hydration when it comes to maintaining optimal digestive health. While supplements like Mag 07 may play a supportive role for some individuals, they should not be relied upon as a primary solution for digestive issues or weight management.

Magnesium Oxide Oral: Uses, Side Effects, Interactions, Pictures, Warnings & Dosing
Uses
This medication is a mineral supplement used to prevent and treat low amounts of magnesium in the blood. Some brands are also used to treat symptoms of too much stomach acid such as stomach upset, heartburn, and acid indigestion. Magnesium is very important for the normal functioning of cells, nerves, muscles, bones, and the heart. Usually, a well-balanced diet provides normal blood levels of magnesium. However, certain situations cause your body to lose magnesium faster than you can replace it from your diet. These situations include treatment with “water pills” (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), a poor diet, alcoholism, or other medical conditions (such as severe diarrhea/vomiting, stomach/intestinal absorption problems, poorly controlled diabetes).
How to use Magnesium Oxide
Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow all directions on the product package. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
It is best to take magnesium supplements with a meal to reduce stomach upset and diarrhea unless otherwise directed by the product instructions or your doctor.
Take each dose with a full glass (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Swallow extended-release capsules and delayed-release/enteric coated tablets or capsules whole. Do not crush or chew extended-release or delayed-release/enteric coated capsules or tablets. Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Also, do not split extended-release tablets unless they have a score line and your doctor or pharmacist tells you to do so. Swallow the whole or split tablet without crushing or chewing.
If you are taking the chewable tablets, chew each tablet thoroughly before swallowing.
If you are using a liquid product, use a medication measuring device to carefully measure the dose. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. If you are using a suspension, shake the bottle well before each dose.
Take this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to take it at the same time(s) each day. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed on the product package or by your doctor. Too much magnesium in the blood can cause serious side effects.
Tell your doctor if symptoms of low magnesium blood levels (such as muscle cramps, tiredness, irritability, depression) last or get worse. If you think you may have a serious medical problem, get medical help right away.
Side Effects
Stomach upset and diarrhea may occur. Taking this product with a meal helps to reduce these effects. If either of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
In the US –

Keep a list of all the products you use (including prescription/nonprescription drugs and herbal products) and share it with your doctor and pharmacist. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicines without your doctor’s approval.
Some products that may interact with this drug are: cellulose sodium phosphate, digoxin, sodium polystyrene sulfonate.
Magnesium can bind with certain medications, preventing their full absorption. If you are taking a tetracycline-type medication (such as demeclocycline, doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline), separate the time of the dose from the time of the magnesium supplement dose by at least 2 to 3 hours. If you are taking a bisphosphonate (for example, alendronate), a thyroid medication (for example, levothyroxine), or a quinolone-type antibiotic (such as ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), ask your doctor or pharmacist about how long you should wait between doses and for help finding a dosing schedule that will work with all your medications.
Check the labels on all your prescription and nonprescription/herbal products (such as antacids, laxatives, vitamins) because they may contain magnesium. Ask your pharmacist about using those products safely.

The European regulator acknowledged that there is a risk of blood clots in those who received the AstraZeneca vaccine, but called it negligible
Photo: Claudia Alba / Global Look Press
The possibility of blood clots should be listed as one of the very rare side effects of the Vaxzevria vaccine, developed by the Anglo-Swedish company AstraZeneca to protect against coronavirus infection COVID-19. The relevant decision was made by the Safety Committee of the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
The EMA report states that blood clots, including in the venous sinuses of the brain, are extremely rare, and the overall benefit of the vaccine in preventing infection with COVID-19 is much greater than the risk of side effects.
“EMA confirms that the overall benefit-risk ratio remains positive,” the announcement reads.
rbc.group
As of April 4, EMA reported 222 cases of thrombosis in the European database, with about 34 million people vaccinated with AstraZeneca in the UK and the rest of Europe. In most cases, blood clots formed within two weeks after the first dose of the vaccine in women under 60 years of age. However, EMA cannot name specific risk factors yet.
rbc.group
As such, the agency urged healthcare providers to closely monitor patients for signs of thromboembolism and thrombocytopenia.
“By recognizing the signs of blood clots and low platelet counts and treating them early, healthcare providers can help victims and prevent complications,” EMA said in a statement.
At the same time, those vaccinated were urged to monitor their feelings and seek immediate medical attention if they experience any of the following symptoms:
- shortness of breath;
- chest pain;
- swelling in the legs;
- persistent abdominal pain;
- severe and persistent headaches or blurred vision;
- small spots of blood under the skin outside the injection site.
A possible explanation for the formation of blood clots when the level of platelets in the EMA falls is an immune response that leads to a condition similar to that sometimes observed in patients treated with heparin (heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, HIT).
