What to wear for working out. Optimize Your Workout: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing the Right Gym Attire
How does your workout attire impact your performance. What are the key factors to consider when selecting gym clothes. Why is investing in high-quality activewear crucial for your fitness journey. How can color psychology influence your workout motivation.
The Psychology Behind Workout Attire: More Than Just Aesthetics
When it comes to working out, many of us might think that what we wear doesn’t matter much. After all, we’re just going to get sweaty, right? However, research and expert opinions suggest otherwise. The clothes we choose for our fitness routines can significantly impact our performance, motivation, and overall workout experience.
The Power of Color Psychology in Fitness
Color psychology plays a crucial role in our perception and behavior, even in the realm of fitness. Different hues can influence our mood, energy levels, and performance in various ways:
- Red: Can increase heart rate and boost performance in high-intensity workouts
- Black: Associated with power and dominance, potentially enhancing confidence and competitive drive
- Neutrals: Signal the brain to relax, ideal for restorative workouts like yoga
How can you leverage color psychology in your workout routine? Consider wearing red for HIIT sessions or cardio workouts to boost your energy. Opt for black attire when you need an extra dose of confidence, such as during strength training or competitive sports. For yoga or recovery days, choose neutral tones to promote relaxation and focus.
The Fashion-Fitness Connection: Dressing for Success in the Gym
The concept of “dressing for success” extends beyond the boardroom and into the fitness world. Just as we might don our best attire for an important meeting, choosing the right workout clothes can significantly boost our confidence and performance in the gym.
Is there a correlation between workout attire and performance? Studies suggest that there is. This phenomenon, known as “enclothed cognition,” proposes that our clothing can trigger mental changes that impact our performance and confidence levels. By investing in workout clothes that make you feel strong and capable, you’re essentially setting yourself up for a more successful training session.
The Rise of Athleisure: Blending Style and Function
The growing popularity of athleisure wear demonstrates our collective desire to feel confident and comfortable, both in and out of the gym. This trend has blurred the lines between workout gear and everyday fashion, allowing us to seamlessly transition from a training session to running errands without compromising on style or comfort.
Keeping It Fresh: The Importance of Variety in Your Workout Wardrobe
Consistency is key when it comes to achieving fitness goals, but boredom can be a major obstacle. How can you maintain enthusiasm for your workouts? One effective strategy is to regularly update your fitness wardrobe.
Introducing new items to your workout attire rotation can reignite your excitement for hitting the gym or tackling a challenging workout. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about feeling good and staying motivated. New workout clothes can serve as a tangible reminder of your commitment to your fitness journey.
Budget-Friendly Ways to Refresh Your Workout Wardrobe
Constantly buying new activewear can strain your budget. Here are some cost-effective ways to keep your workout wardrobe fresh:
- Explore thrift stores or online secondhand marketplaces
- Organize activewear swaps with friends or fitness buddies
- Look for sales and discounts on quality brands
- Invest in versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched
The Science of Comfort: How High-Quality Materials Enhance Performance
When it comes to workout clothes, comfort should never be sacrificed for style. High-quality activewear is designed to feel like a second skin, allowing you to focus entirely on your workout without distractions from ill-fitting or uncomfortable clothing.
What makes high-quality workout clothes worth the investment? Let’s break it down:
- Improved circulation: Compression wear increases blood flow, delivering more oxygen to muscles
- Temperature regulation: Moisture-wicking fabrics help maintain optimal body temperature
- Reduced fatigue: Proper support and compression can lead to less muscle soreness and faster recovery
- Injury prevention: Well-designed activewear can provide necessary support to joints and muscles
The Role of Compression Wear in Athletic Performance
Compression garments have gained popularity among athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike. These tight-fitting clothes are designed to apply pressure to specific body parts, offering several potential benefits:
- Enhanced blood circulation
- Reduced muscle oscillation during exercise
- Improved recovery time
- Decreased risk of muscle strain
While more research is needed to fully understand the extent of these benefits, many athletes swear by compression wear for both performance and recovery.
Choosing the Right Workout Clothes: A Practical Guide
Selecting the appropriate workout attire involves more than just picking something that looks good. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you make informed choices:
Fabric Matters: Understanding Different Materials
Which fabrics are best suited for different types of workouts? Let’s explore:
- Moisture-wicking synthetics: Ideal for high-intensity workouts and hot environments
- Breathable cotton: Great for low-impact activities or strength training
- Wool blends: Excellent for outdoor workouts in cooler weather
- Bamboo: Naturally antimicrobial and great for sensitive skin
The Importance of Proper Fit
Ill-fitting workout clothes can not only be uncomfortable but also potentially dangerous. Here’s what to look for:
- Sports bras: Should provide adequate support without restricting breathing
- Bottoms: Should allow full range of motion without slipping or chafing
- Tops: Should be neither too loose (to avoid getting caught in equipment) nor too tight
- Shoes: Must provide proper support for your specific activity
Sustainable Choices: Eco-Friendly Workout Wear
As environmental consciousness grows, many fitness enthusiasts are seeking sustainable options for their workout wardrobe. How can you make more eco-friendly choices when it comes to activewear?
Brands Leading the Way in Sustainable Activewear
Several companies are pioneering sustainable practices in the activewear industry:
- Patagonia: Known for using recycled materials and promoting garment repair
- Girlfriend Collective: Creates activewear from recycled plastic bottles
- Organic Basics: Uses organic cotton and recycled materials
- Tentree: Plants ten trees for every item purchased
DIY Upcycling: Giving New Life to Old Workout Clothes
Another way to make your workout wardrobe more sustainable is by upcycling old clothes. Here are some ideas:
- Turn old t-shirts into workout tanks
- Repurpose worn-out leggings into headbands or arm sleeves
- Use fabric scraps to create reusable face wipes or sweat towels
The Future of Workout Wear: Innovations in Fitness Fashion
The world of activewear is constantly evolving, with new technologies and innovations emerging regularly. What can we expect to see in the future of workout wear?
Smart Fabrics and Wearable Tech
Advancements in textile technology are leading to the development of “smart” fabrics that can:
- Monitor heart rate and other vital signs
- Adjust temperature based on body heat
- Provide real-time feedback on form and posture
- Change color or pattern based on environmental factors
Personalized Fit: 3D-Printed Activewear
3D printing technology is opening up new possibilities for custom-fit activewear. This could lead to:
- Perfectly tailored compression wear
- Customized support for individual body types
- Reduced waste in the manufacturing process
As we look to the future, it’s clear that workout wear will continue to evolve, blending fashion, function, and technology in exciting new ways. By staying informed about these developments and making thoughtful choices about our activewear, we can enhance our workouts, boost our confidence, and contribute to a more sustainable fitness industry.
Remember, the right workout attire can be a powerful tool in your fitness journey. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about feeling confident, comfortable, and motivated to push your limits and achieve your goals. So the next time you’re getting ready for a workout, take a moment to consider how your choice of clothing might impact your performance. You might be surprised at the difference the right outfit can make!
What You Wear During A Workout Matters More Than You Think
“You’re just going to get it all sweaty anyway.” How many of us have thought this about high-priced or on-trend activewear? It’s normal to question the wisdom of purchasing cute gym clothes to exercise in when they’re just going to get sweaty and dirty.
But research studies and human performance experts agree that what we wear to work out actually does make a difference in both our motivation to break a sweat. Here’s why.
5 Ways Choosing The Right Workout Clothing Can Impact Your Training
Color Psychology is a Powerful Force
Yes, color psychology is a real thing! Different colors affect our mood, energy level, productivity, motivation, and concentration. For example, seeing the color red can literally increase your heart rate. In fashion terms, this means choosing a red outfit for your workout can help boost performance during boxing and kickboxing, HIIT workouts, cardio, or other high-intensity training sessions.
Psychologically, the color black is often linked to thoughts of power and dominance, and studies on professional football teams have shown that teams wearing black uniforms tend to beat teams in non-black uniforms. Slipping on black leggings or shorts and a black tank can boost your confidence and competitive drive, pushing you to work harder and longer than your opponent.
Neutrals, on the other hand, signal the brain to relax and are perfect for restorative workouts like yoga, post-boxing stretches, or active recovery day routines.
Fashion and Fitness Go Hand-In-Hand
Does what we wear affect how we perform? Yes! ‘Dress for success’ is a common phrase for a reason. When we want to rock the job interview or nail the presentation, we button up our sharpest suits and power pumps to look and feel capable and confident.
The same concept goes for working out – the confidence we get from a fierce workout outfit translates to confidence on the punching bag, in the boxing ring, on a run…everywhere! It’s why athleisure has been having such a moment in fashion; we thrive in what makes us feel the most confident.
Newness is Exciting
The key to crushing fitness goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is consistency. But the number one killer of consistency is boredom. Shaking up your workout fashion can help beat the boredom and reignite your excitement about hitting the gym or the heavy bag.
Rotating in new items is also a great way to represent your passions and the brands you stand behind. The FightCamp apparel store not only carries boxing & kickboxing appropriate men’s and women’s clothing, the stylized logo design is a perfect conversation starter to let people know you train like a fighter.
But in this age of luxury athleisure, a revolving door of new activewear can do heavy damage to a household budget. If you want to shake up your training wardrobe without breaking the bank, scope out some local or online thrift stores, or start an activewear swap with your fitness besties to keep you excited about wearing your amazing workout clothes!
Sharp Looks Boost Confidence
Fitness experts often point to a psychological phenomenon called “enclothed cognition. ” This is the idea that what we wear actually triggers mental changes and can impact our performance and confidence. In short, investing in workout clothes that make you feel strong and confident can actually empower you during your training sessions.
But be warned: It’s especially important not to sacrifice style for comfort when it comes to workout clothes. Activewear should feel like a second skin and allow you to focus 100% on your workout – not that itchy material, too-tight sports bra, or see-through leggings.
High-Quality Materials Keep You Safe and Comfortable
Fitness clothing designers spend millions researching, experimenting, and designing clothes that will not only protect athletes but enhance performance, too. It’s time to reframe our relationship with workout clothes. You wouldn’t buy the cheapest pair of sneakers for a marathon, so why cheat yourself on cheap compression leggings or an irritating sports bra?
In fact, high-quality compression wear will increase circulation and blood flow, which in turn sends more oxygen to your muscles. This means less fatigue and soreness, faster recovery, and improved endurance and power.
From sweat-wicking materials to the most breathable cotton, a good workout outfit will help regulate your temperature and prevent your skin from getting itchy from sweat and pore compression. Investing in well-designed and durable materials will pay off in the gym and help prevent injury.
Looking for a strong, powerful style that will have you feeling confident? Get the knockout look with FightCamp athletic wear and apparel. From at-home training to gym workouts, to errands around town, show the world that bod you’ve been working hard for.

Through all the workout videos and live streaming services, you can bring your favourite instructor and boutique fitness studios into your own home.
But, it is totally a different vibe at home when compared to the gym, don’t you think? Backpacks with a bundle of books as dumbbells and your home carpet as your yoga mat give a whole different vibe. Whatever may be the alternative, you would always need motivation to workout at home. Wearing your favourite pyjamas and that old tee will only want you to take a nap. Wearing the kind of activewear might just boost your motivation for working out.
Whatever your at-home workout choice might be, here’s a handful of the best workout clothes we think, that you can wear for your home workout sessions.
1.Running
So you are basically practising to being chased by a dog? Just Kidding! Running is actually a great way to burn calories, indeed it’s a very low-budget yet effective workout at home. All you need is a pair of running shorts and an activewear tee and you are done. Also, avoid wearing layers of clothing this might resist your skin from breathing. You call always pair a sports bra with a pair of shorts and plug in your favourite song. That’s it! Don’t forget to put on your shoes for the extra grip and prevent yourself from falling face-first on that marbled floor.
2.High-Intensity Workout
Now for something like this, you might be wondering what is the best way to style your activewear. One good thing is you don’t have to worry about someone looking at your outfit like at any random gym. You would probably work out at home so anything comfortable is a great pick. You just need to ensure you wear a high-support bra and pair it with high-waist track pants and sports shoes.
3.Yoga and Core Work
The first thing concerns you is, your yoga mat. If you already have one that’s great but if you don’t, then you can always use the carpet or any basic mat from your home. You may be more comfortable wearing clothes that are breathable, fits well and will wick the sweat away from your body. Say T-shirts, tank tops, sports bras, yoga pants anything would go well. Avoid wearing super-loose clothes that topple over your head while you do your asanas.

What to wear to the gym to spoil the workout for yourself and others – bad advice
More and more sports and physical activity are becoming an integral part of human life. Even the most successful people leave room for exercise in their schedule. Physical exercise helps you feel good, be in a great mood and shape.
Agree, it’s always nice to have a beautiful body, and it’s even nicer to look stylish when visiting a gym or a fitness club. Let’s figure it out together, but what you should not put on yourself when coming to such places.
Don’t wear “what is”!
A common mistake is that many come to classes in city clothes, namely: ordinary wide sports trousers, cotton T-shirt. It seems that they are more familiar, and therefore comfortable. These are all delusions!
No cotton clothes!
Cotton has always been comfortable, but not in the gym. Clothing made of it dries slowly, and sweat remains with you until the end of the workout and becomes the main cause of skin irritation, increases friction in some areas. You will quickly find yourself in damp clothes, and this will lead to hypothermia.
In addition, it is not at all aesthetically pleasing if your T-shirt turns into continuous treacherous sweat spots on the back, chest or under the arms.
What to wear? Adviсe!
Replace cotton with clothes specially designed for sports training made of quick-drying synthetics or hygroscopic, capillary fabrics. It is better to prefer tops and T-shirts made of elastane, lycra, polyester, and if it is a T-shirt, then from fabric blends (polyester + cotton is allowed). Sweat will be brought to the surface and dry quickly. Manufacturers of sportswear pay great attention to such moments.
Swap your sweatpants for shorts, leggings or tights!
It will be unpleasant if loose and wide trousers are accidentally pinched by the treadmill, even more unpleasant if you fall because of this. Therefore, feel free to choose shorts, leggings, but preferably tights. It all depends on what kind of training you are doing.
Tights are somewhat similar to leggings, but differ in fabric, thoughtful ventilation zones, the ability to absorb moisture and great comfort. The main advantage is that they are perfectly stretched and do not constrain movements.
Regular bra or other options?
Regular bra should be put aside! Wearing it to the gym has a number of disadvantages: it does not absorb moisture, will rub during active exercise and does not support the chest properly, and this is immediately noticeable during running and jumping. She begins to jump unpleasantly, which is why you have to hold her with your hands. As a result, the ligaments are stretched, and the mammary glands can finally sag. This is especially true for owners of a chic bust.
Choose a special sports bra!
We agree that your chest does not look very expressive in it. But do not fall for fashion by flaunting its splendor and appeal. Yet you came to the training, not to the party.
Now manufacturers offer a huge number of options: with voluminous cups, with spicy mesh, comfortable tops and other models. Remember that a good sports bra works for you – it protects the ligaments and skin from excessive stretching.
Do not forget that for active exercises, more strongly compressive models are better, and for walking and yoga classes, weaker ones. If your chest is large, then it is worth getting a specially designed bra with wide straps in front and on the back. They will help distribute the weight and will not dig into the body.
Don’t wear worn-out sneakers, even if you feel sorry for throwing them away!
Old sneakers, flats and even the brightest trendy ones will definitely not fit in the fitness room if they do not meet the minimum requirements. Shoes must be:
with a secure arch support insole – and you have to work out on a flat floor;
with the right cushioning of the sole – to soften the jumps;
with mesh breathable surface – feet should not sweat;
designed for indoor use – insulated outdoor shoes will not work;
the right size so you don’t accidentally twist your leg.
And of course, choose high-quality shoes that will perfectly withstand any workout. But know it needs to be replaced periodically. According to some recommendations, sneakers should be bought every 800 kilometers of a run.
Do not bring jewelry!
It’s not easy to convince you of this, but keep in mind that sticking, hanging, swinging jewelry can lead to trouble: at least you will tear it, and at most you will hurt yourself. Even an engagement ring can bring a lot of trouble.
The louder the better?
We agree that it is very comfortable to study to music. This limits the perception of the environment: nothing distracts you, and you fully concentrate on the exercises. But there is one condition: turn down the volume so that you can hear a little what is happening around! In the event of a fire alarm, you will not be able to immediately have all the information. Trust me, quiet music will optimize your breathing habits, performance of a treadmill monitor or sports smart bracelet.
Loose clothes can hurt!
You don’t believe? But it really is! The main reason is that it is impossible to see the correct posture, the centering of your body and observe the correctness and clarity of movements. This is especially true for performing strength exercises, here it is important to monitor your posture so as not to harm the spine.

how to dress for a workout
Having decided to take up fitness and going to their first class, many beginners have little idea what clothes for the gym will be most suitable. To help them make the right choice, we summarized the experience of experienced athletes and made recommendations for choosing clothes and shoes for fitness and bodybuilding.

What should be the athlete’s equipment
In order for clothing and footwear for sports activities to help achieve their goals, they must meet the following requirements:
- provide thermal comfort;
- be comfortable when driving;
- comply with safety regulations;
- do not distract others from training;
- present your appearance in a favorable light;
- always be clean and tidy.
Some fitness enthusiasts, in addition to these points, believe that sportswear for fitness should be high-profile and choose only products from prestigious brands. This is a personal matter for everyone, but beginners should hardly spend significant amounts on sports equipment. High-quality sportswear can be bought inexpensively, and besides, with regular training, your clothing size may change significantly in the near future.
Consider each of the requirements for clothing and footwear for the gym in more detail.
Thermal comfort
Whatever the temperature in the gym, you will definitely not feel cold during intense physical activity. Most likely, in the process of training, you will become hot and you will sweat. Therefore, the best choice would be a T-shirt with short sleeves made of knitwear that absorbs sweat well, and shorts below the knees, or sports trousers made of a fairly light and hygroscopic stretch fabric.
Are sports suits, trowels, sweatshirts required in the gym? Yes, it is desirable to have any of these things. They usually do a warm-up before strength training. If the gym is cool enough, then by warming up, you are more likely to warm up the muscles during the warm-up.
When exercising on the simulators, the sweatshirt or trowel can be removed, remaining in the T-shirt. And at the end of the workout, when you head to the locker room, outerwear will come in handy. By insulating a body that is hot and damp with sweat, you will protect yourself from drafts and avoid colds.
There is an opinion that exercising in warm clothes, feeling temperature discomfort and sweating heavily, the trainee will lose weight faster. Actually it is not. Weight loss with increased sweating is not due to the acceleration of fat burning, but due to getting rid of fluid. A similar effect of “weight loss” gives a sauna. Restoring the water balance, the body returns to its weight. Excess layers of clothing do not affect the intensity of fat burning in any way, they can only make training more difficult and uncomfortable.
Speaking of thermal comfort, one cannot but mention gym shoes. Sweating feet is a common problem, especially among men. When choosing sports shoes, there are many criteria that will be discussed in detail below. Taking care that the feet do not overheat during training, you should pay attention to sports models with mesh inserts. They promote good ventilation of the feet, prevent excessive sweating and all the problems associated with it.
Materials
What are the best materials for sportswear? Previously, it was believed that clothing made from natural fabrics: cotton, linen is best suited for sports. But the experience of athletes completely refutes this statement. Cotton and linen jersey absorb sweat well, but dry for a long time and, remaining wet, cool the body. Constant skin contact with sweat-soaked cloth can cause diaper rash and chafing.
Much more comfortable during training, clothes made of synthetic materials, designed specifically for sports. They are highly hygroscopic and breathable, quickly absorb and evaporate moisture. Due to this, they are much more comfortable for sports than cotton and linen. This is just the rare case when synthetics are preferable to natural materials.
The same goes for socks. Contrary to popular belief, not cotton, but special socks for sports, which are characterized by increased hygroscopicity and the absence of any seams, will be the best for sports activities.
However, for those who want to lose weight and do only cardio for now, cotton jersey T-shirts will do just fine. They are especially suitable for those who are embarrassed by excess weight, because, unlike tight-fitting sports jersey, a loose elongated cotton T-shirt hides figure flaws well.
Driving comfort
Clothes must be properly sized. Being engaged in the gym, you have to move not only a lot, but also in a variety of ways. Therefore, fitness clothing should stretch well in all directions so as not to restrict movement during any exercise. Too tight clothing is not allowed. Tight belts, tops that squeeze the armpits, pants that cut into the crotch should be excluded. Choose socks that are low, without an elastic band compressing the lower leg.
When choosing a T-shirt, shorts, trousers, evaluate whether they are comfortable to squat, bend over, stretch. Pay attention not only to freedom of movement, but also to the fact that certain parts of the body, such as the lower back and buttocks, are not excessively exposed during the exercises. After all, not only physical, but also psychological comfort is important.
An important condition for the comfort of men’s and women’s fitness clothing is the absence of coarse seams. Sweaty and heated skin with constant contact with rough seams, hard labels will rub and injure, causing pain.
Safety regulations
Sportswear has a lot to do with the safety of training. Too loose clothing is dangerous because it can catch on the protruding parts of the simulators and lose balance.
Another danger of loose clothing is that the instructor does not see how well the strength exercises are being performed. Only in tight-fitting sportswear, the incorrect position of the body and errors in movements are noticeable from the side. This gives the instructor the opportunity to correct the mistakes of the ward and give him the technique.
Hiding in a hoodie, you can avoid criticism, but at the same time master strength exercises incorrectly. And the wrong technique will not only not allow you to achieve the desired results, but can also cause injury, which happens quite often.
Shoes play an important role in ensuring the safety of training. It should be selected for a certain type of load. Read more about this in the relevant section.
Rules of propriety
The desire to demonstrate the dignity of the figure and attract the attention of the opposite sex is quite understandable, but people usually go to the gym for a completely different purpose. Provocative sportswear that reveals the details of the physique distracts from training, which can have a bad effect on both the results of training and reputation.
When choosing clothes for the gym, it is recommended to be modest, all the advantages of the figure are usually appreciated even without defiantly revealing clothes. Moreover, open sweaty areas of the body leave unpleasant wet marks on the benches and seats of the simulators. To the one for whom this will be noticed, too open clothes will help to arouse not sympathy, but, on the contrary, hostility of others.
Attractive looks
When choosing clothes for the gym, comfort and safety should be a priority. But we must not forget about the aesthetic side. You should like yourself in these clothes. Even if your physical form is still far from perfect, the reflection in the mirror of the gym should be pleasant for you. This will create high spirits and increase motivation for regular exercise.
How to dress in the gym so that your appearance is presented in the most favorable light? The principles of choosing sportswear are the same as for the rest of the wardrobe:
- emphasize the dignity of the figure;
- try to hide imperfections as much as possible;
- choose shades that match your skin and hair tone, eye color.
There are many opportunities to follow these recommendations when choosing sportswear. Depending on whether it is necessary to emphasize the beauty of the legs and hips or, conversely, to hide their flaws, you can choose: tight-fitting or loose shorts of various lengths, leggings, loose sports trousers. The same applies to the upper part of the sports uniform – by varying the length of the sleeve, the shape of the neck, the degree of fit, you can choose the most suitable T-shirt or top model for you.
Remember that light shades visually increase the volume, while dark ones reduce it. This allows you to visually adjust the proportions of the upper and lower parts of the figure.
Cleanliness and tidiness
One of the most important conditions for an attractive appearance in the gym is the cleanliness and freshness of clothes. Wash underwear, T-shirt, shorts and socks after each workout. Shoes also need to be dried and ventilated, you should not forget them in your bag until the next workout, this is fraught with an unpleasant odor.
The durability of sportswear is determined not only by its appearance, but also by its freshness. Even if the T-shirt has not faded or stretched, it is time to replace it if after washing the unpleasant odor soaked into it does not go away. On average, the replacement of sportswear with its intensive use is required once every six months.
Shoes
Gym shoes should be selected according to the type of training. For running on a treadmill, you should buy running shoes, and for strength training – weightlifting shoes or wrestling shoes. High-quality athletic shoes securely fix the foot and help to center the joints of the knees and ankles during strength exercises. This serves as an excellent prevention of injury and protects the joints from rapid wear.
Athletic shoes are not suitable for running and jumping. Due to its stiffness during running, the spine experiences shock loads, which can cause problems with the intervertebral discs. Therefore, if you plan to do both strength and cardio training, get two types of shoes and do not forget to change them.
For fitness activities with elements of cardio aerobics, step aerobics, running shoes are suitable. If stretching exercises (yoga, Pilates) predominate, then buy soft, plastic shoes – moccasins, Czechs, half-sneakers.
One of the important requirements for footwear is that it must not be broken in. Pros recommend changing your running shoes after “running” 500 miles, which is roughly equivalent to 1 pair per year for two runs per week.
Underwear
Many people think that it doesn’t matter what kind of underwear they use for training, because it is not visible under clothing. This is not entirely true. Incorrect selection can cause inconvenience and even the most comfortable sportswear will not compensate for it.
Sports underwear made from synthetic materials that fit snugly around the body for comfort and good ventilation. This is especially important during intense workouts and profuse sweating.
Underwear for training in the gym is recommended to choose from hygroscopic materials with sufficient elasticity. Special attention deserves the selection of sports bras for women. They should support the chest well so that during active movements it is fixed and the skin does not stretch. With a large size, you should choose a bra with wide shoulders and a belt. Since the supportive properties of bras weaken over time, it is recommended to replace these pieces of women’s sportswear every 6-9months.
